Our Story
Menabem was founded with a clear vision: to share Ethiopia's exceptional coffee with the world while ensuring that the women who grow it receive the recognition and support they deserve.
Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, and its farmers have cultivated these precious beans for generations. We work directly with women-owned farms to source the finest Arabica coffee, creating lasting partnerships built on trust and mutual benefit.
Premium Coffee Regions
We primarily export Arabica coffee sourced from some of the premier coffee regions of Ethiopia including Yirgachefe, Limu, Jimma and Gugi.
Yirgachefe
Known worldwide for its bright acidity and complex floral notes. Yirgachefe coffees often feature jasmine, bergamot, and citrus characteristics that make them highly sought after by specialty roasters.
Limu
Grown at elevations between 1,400-2,000 meters, Limu coffees offer a balanced cup with wine-like qualities, pleasant sweetness, and a medium body that appeals to a wide range of palates.
Jimma
One of Ethiopia's most productive coffee regions, Jimma produces full-bodied coffees with earthy, spicy notes and a rich, satisfying finish that anchors many quality blends.
Gugi
A newer designation gaining recognition for its complex fruit-forward profiles. Gugi coffees often display vibrant berry notes, stone fruit sweetness, and a silky body.
Empowering Women Farmers
We source our coffee exclusively from women farmers. In addition, we have a pledge to allocate 5% of all our profit to invest back into the education and business development of women farmers.
